Food Not Bombs Public Distribution - Saturday, 4 October

Food Not Bombs Springfield, IL is going to be holding a public food distribution on Saturday, 4 October @ 4:00 PM outside the Lincoln Library in downtown Springfield. We will be meeting on the sidewalk next to the Grace Lutheran parking lot on Capitol Ave. by 7th St., across from First Presbyterian Church. Come out and join us for a free vegan meal!

Volunteers and donations are needed for this distribution! If you are willing and able, please head over to https://venmo.com/u/FoodNotBombsSpringfieldIL/ and donate. Much of our food is donated by local grocery stores (including Hy-Vee and Food Fantasies) but we use donated money to purchase additional groceries and to-go containers.

If you are interested in volunteering, we will be doing food prep for the distribution on Friday, 3 October from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church (533 S. Walnut, Springfield) and again on Saturday from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the same location.
