Deputy Duck Derby 2026

The 5th Annual Deputy Duck Derby is splashing back into Effingham County for another exciting year of fun, community, and giving back! This beloved rubber duck race fundraiser benefits the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes and has become a tradition families look forward to every year.

🎉 New this year — we’re expanding Derby weekend with two exciting additions!

First, we’re introducing the very first Miss Derby Darlin’ Pageant, happening two weekends before the Duck Derby, where contestants will take the stage to shine while supporting the same amazing cause.

Then, we’ll kick off Duck Derby weekend with an exclusive Dinner in the Duck on Friday night — a special evening of great food, fellowship, and celebration leading into the big race on Saturday.

From adorable racing ducks and local vendors to new traditions and unforgettable memories, the Deputy Duck Derby continues to grow bigger and better each year — all while making a splash for a purpose!
