De-Escalation Training

Have you been wanting to serve as an usher or a medic for a local rally? Do you want to learn de-escalation skills? Do you want to practice roleplaying de-escalation scenarios? This training is for you!

We're opening up our de-escalation training to the public for March. There will be two public trainings. Both will be held at the Lincoln Library at 326 S 7th St, Springfield, IL 62701. The dates are:

*Saturday, March 21st from noon to 2pm in the Bicentennial Room.
*Wednesday, March 25th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Carnegie Room.

This training was originally created by 50501 Springfield IL and Capital City Illinois Indivisible, and has been used to train their ushers and medic to prepare them for recent rallies. This training is required for all ushers for the No Kings 3 rally.
