Everyone will make 3 unique artworks to take home!No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. We will use indoor light boxes to complete the photographic process.-----About the instructor: Madge Evers is a visual artist, educator, and author of , a book about the cyanotype process. She uses alternative photography, mushroom spores, and painting to depict landscape details, imagined flora, and the foundational importance of plant life. Madge’s work has been featured in : The Journal of Nature in Visual Culture, Studio Visit Magazine, and the Brooklyn Review and exhibited at the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Danforth Museum of Art, the Brattleboro Museum, and the Arnold Arboretum, among others. She has completed residencies at Chautauqua Arts, Cill Rialaig in Kerry, Ireland, Oak Spring Garden Foundation, and Mount Auburn Cemetery. In 2021, she was a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship Finalist in Photography.
