It's a non-race.

What do you mean it's a non-race?
Exactly what it sounds like. There is no race. It is called the Zero-K after all. But in case you over-achievers out there need your acknowledgement, you will get a 0.0 sticker.  For proof, you know?!?!

Is it a walk?
Exercise is a vital part of mental health.  But this event is a break to focus on how important proper sleep is to our mental health. So for one day, take a break with us and celebrate sleeping in!

Is it a run?
Definitely not.

Is it a 5K/10K?
In spirit, perhaps.

So what do we actually do?
Sleep in. Seriously.

Then join us for brunch, pick up your non-race packet, grab your event shirt, and celebrate supporting mental health awareness with friends, family, and the community.

What if I don't attend brunch?
Now you're talking.  If you want to sleep right through, we will still get your packet to you!  You're supporting a great cause no matter what!

Why are we doing this?
Because mental health matters.

The Pillow K is a fun and lighthearted reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down, rest, and take care of yourself.

Our message is simple:
Don't Sleep on Mental Health.

Do I need special shoes?
No.

Do I need athletic ability?
Also no.

Do I need a pillow?
We highly recommend it.

What should I wear?
Whatever you'd wear to brunch with friends who appreciate a good joke and an even better cause.

Will there be a finish line?
No.

Will there be medals?
No.

How do I know if I've completed the event?
Did you sleep in?
Did you show up for brunch?
Congratulations.

What is the goal of this event?
To bring people together, spark conversations around mental health, and remind our community that taking care of ourselves and each other matters.

For one morning, we are officially encouraging everyone to hit snooze.
