All families, players, and community members are welcome to attend Awards Day.

Please note that WCYS Baseball and Softball do not give participation awards.

Each year, the winningest team in each division — Coach Pitch, 9/10, and 11/12 — will receive an award at Awards Day.  
All-Star Teams will also be recognized.

To ensure sufficient parking, reduce crowding, and prevent long waits in the heat, Awards Day will be staggered by division.

⭐ 6:00 PM – Coach Pitch Division
Order of recognition:
- Winningest Softball team  
- Winningest Baseball team  
- Coach Pitch All-Star Recognition (7U and 8U)  
- Smalley Award and Burkhead Award for each age group  

⭐ 6:20 PM – 9/10 Kid Pitch Division
Order of recognition:

Recipients of the Smalley Award are not only great teammates—they are the glue that holds the team together. Whether it’s offering a word of encouragement after a tough inning, lending a hand in the concession stand, keeping score, picking up trash without being asked, or supporting younger teams and siblings, these players consistently show up with a heart to serve.
They may not always be in the spotlight, but their actions light the way for others. The Smalley Award celebrates those who lead by example, proving that greatness isn’t always measured in stats—but in selflessness, reliability, and the quiet strength of character.

They treat everyone with respect, show up with a positive attitude, and make our league a better place simply by being part of it.
The Good Neighbor Award is a tribute to character over competition, reminding us that being a great athlete starts with being a great human.

🔥 Burkhead Award Definition 🔥
The Burkhead Award honors a young player whose passion for the game burns bright and whose potential promises a thrilling future. Named to recognize emerging talent and unstoppable spirit, this award is given to an athlete who shows up with grit, determination, and a love for the game that’s impossible to miss.
