🐻 Hey Bears, LET’S ALL GO CAMPING! Enjoy two fun-filled nights, and days of adventure, in beautiful Zion National Park! ⛺️
📍We’ve reserved a large group campsite at Watchman Campground inside Zion. This is a tent-only site, so get your tents and gear ready! Amenities include a large pergola for shade with multiple picnic tables, trees, flush toilets, and cell phone service. Pets are allowed (on leash, with some limitations - see Zion’s website for details). Showers are available a short walk, drive or shuttle ride away, for a small fee.
🎟️ SPACE IS STRICTLY LIMITED so reserve your spot now! We ask that you pay a $30 donation per person, which covers both nights. Reservations are first come first serve, and we expect to hit capacity soon, so RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW, BEFORE THEY’RE GONE!
❌🔥❌The site includes fire rings and BBQs, but there are currently RESTRICTIONS ON CAMPFIRES. We don’t know if this will still be in effect in October, but please be prepared to bring a camp stove for cooking. Let’s use the comments section on this event page to help coordinate equipment sharing, carpooling, etc.
🚙 Parking at the campsite is limited and carpooling is strongly encouraged! If we exceed the allotted number of on-site vehicles, some cars will have to park in paid lots in the town of Springdale, which is very close by. There is a free loop shuttle to take you from town to the campground and back. Any cars entering Zion will have to purchase a $35 entrance pass per vehicle. This covers all passengers and is good for 7 days. Passes are available upon entrance, or in advance at Zion’s website.

⚡️This is a non-electric campsite. If you require electricity, such as for a CPAP machine, we recommend you bring a backup battery. These are relatively affordable on Amazon and elsewhere, and many can be recharged with portable solar panels. If you have recommendations on what to purchase, please leave those in the comments. GAS or PROPANE GENERATORS are strictly prohibited.
