Cinco de Mayo Festival

The Cinco de Mayo Festival is HWOA’s largest annual fundraiser supporting our Scholarship Program, while also serving as a vibrant celebration of history, culture, and community. This meaningful day commemorates the Battle of Puebla, when a group of everyday citizens courageously defeated a much larger French army—an enduring symbol of resilience and unity.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public and brings our community together for a day filled with live performances, cultural activities, and delicious food. More than a celebration, the festival is an opportunity to honor history, uplift education, and invest in the future of our students and families. Join us as we celebrate culture, community, and the power of coming together.
