Wax Carving Basics: Rings

Learn the art of carving wax to make a beautifully personalized piece of jewelry. You will learn to size and sculpt your very own design into a ring using a combination of carving tools, files and different burs on the flex shaft! This is a perfect precursor to our Casting Workshop for Rings.

Skills covered: We will be learning the different hardnesses of wax as well as how to use carving tools, files and our flex shaft to complete our design.

Prerequisite: None, this is a great introduction to the art of wax carving.

Materials provided: All materials will be provided for you.
