- **Event Description**: Last chance to sand cast with us this summer - and also the last bangle for the year!!

Learn sand casting techniques using delft clay. You'll learn how to form a proper mold in an aluminum ring. Choose from one of our wax molds in your size, make your clay mold, then you'll then position the gemstones into your desired design pattern. We will then melt down enough jeweler's brass to cast your bangle. You'll have a choice of select rubies, sapphires, and cubic zirconia. Afterwards, we'll saw off our sprue and use a combination of hand tools and the flex shaft to sand and polish. You'll leave with a truly one of a kind bangle cuff.

Skills: We'll go over mold making + proper ventilation. How to calculate the proper amount of brass and temperatures as well as different casting techniques. We'll also go over hand tools + flex shaft usage for finishing. This is an adult class 18+.

Prerequisite: None, but it's a great idea to start with a pendant or ring class first!
