- **Event Description**: We miss our friend every single day. It's been over 4 years without him. David loved animals, traveling, community and sports. David's love of connection through what he loved was brought to life when he connected with Always & Furever. He truly found his passion. Through this partnership he was able to use his love of travel and animals to create a legacy that is so much bigger than himself. And we will never forget him or the love and laughter he brought to us. David was set to ride his bike across Kansas before his passing to raise money for A&F and bring donations to rural shelters. This is just one example of what he was willing to do to make the world and his community a better place. 

We now want to start a new tradition that brings together all of what David loved and lived for. Please join us for our first wheelchair basketball game between the Kansas City King's of Midwest Adaptive Sports and staff and volunteers of Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary.  David loved playing basketball. And he loved A&F. And he loved supporting his community.

This is a free event, but the entry fee will be a non perishable item to the Spring Hill Food Pantry for humans or pets. Donations are also appreciated to the Kansas City Kings of Midwest Adaptive Sports (https://www.midwestadaptivesports.org/) . We will enjoy some fun between the two teams, and telling stories of our dear friend David, all while doing good for the community. We guarantee there will be lots of laughter and love. Please plan to join us at the Spring Hill Middle School Gym on Saturday, December 6th at 1:30pm.  We know David and Annabelle will be watching us with love and pride and some laughs
