Grow & Gather: Fall Foraging

Join Kitchen Gardener Abbie Lehman for a hands-on fall foraging class on the beautiful Phoebe Point Trail. Begin with a lesson on foraging basics before taking a moderate 1.1-mile guided loop to identify seasonal wild edibles.

Learn about Frank Lloyd Wright’s connection to the Driftless landscape and how it inspired Taliesin’s culture of working with nature. This class covers safe and responsible foraging, key plant identification, and the benefits of foraging for you and your garden.

Open to all skill levels and abilities! Those unable to hike can still participate in the instructional session.

Schedule:
9:30–10:30 AM — Foraging instruction at the trailhead
10:30 AM–12:30 PM — Guided hike and hands-on identification

Please Note: Foraging on Phoebe Point Trail is only allowed with express permission from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Participants must follow guide instructions to protect the environment.
