The Summer Solstice invites us to embrace the fullness of the light, celebrate growth, honor how far we've come, and recharge our spirits with the abundant energy of the sun. Last time I had 25-30 participants, and we could have squeezed in more. I'm not taking reservations, but I will keep track of those who have RSVP'd so I can give you an idea of what to expect. I would suggest coming early to get your ideal spot. Location: Canal Canyon Rd, Spring City, UT 84662 Directions: About 7 minutes southeast of Spring City. The dirt road to the trailhead was just redone this spring, and it's so nice! Any vehicle can make it ^_^ In Spring City, from Main Street, turn East up 400 S. At 500 E, turn right (south). Follow 500 E south toward Horseshoe Mountain, and it will eventually turn into N. Canal Canyon Rd. Once you hit the dirt road, keep driving until you can't. You'll eventually hit a parking lot. This is an Equine & Hiking Trailhead. You'll see signs that say "Equine Parking." Park on the opposite side if possible or wherever there's an open spot. There's more parking up in the trees if you want to pull up ahead of the main parking. We'll be gathering up above the trailhead in a grove of trees. After parking, walk up until you see the opening in the trees up above the trailhead sign, slightly off to the right.
