I have just seen the sweetest idea and I would love to share it with all my locals!
A Homemaker swap party! 🎉 I just found out about it! it's like a cookie exchange party... only for anything homemade!
so here's the deal-
* Whatever you bring has to be homemade!
* The number of items you bring is what you can leave with.
* This can only be as good as everyone participating - so don't bake cookies and packing one cookie in a bag and then bring 12 and leave with 12 other much more costly or time consuming items!
* Try to bring at least 5 items- 5 boxes of cookies 🍪, 5 loaves of bread 🍞, 5 candles 🕯️ but you're welcome to bring more and leave with more. (**If you can only make 3 loaves of bread so something like that, you're still welcome to come but we want to have a lot to share with people 💚**)
* Anyone with non-perishable items; soaps, candles, knitted hats or little critters, salves, canned homegrown goodness, dry mixes, snacks or candies, paintings, jewelry, ect- y'all can stop in here @ The Barn Store or at the Piggly Wiggly here in Spring City- stop in at the front counter and ask the person to give the bag/box of things to Chris - or head over to the produce department there and look for the bearded man yourself and hand him a bag of your items ANYTIME BEFORE NOVEMBER 14TH. Then I can share the items as they come in and get people excited about what they can swap!!
* Anyone with perishable items- Baked goods, cookies, breads, pies, ect.
Share on this events page what you plan to bring and either bring it on the 14th or try to be here early so the people who shared their items sooner can have the chance to get what your sharing as well!
The more people who bring and share the more we'll all get to share!
So bring a basket or your favorite reusable bag to fill with goodies from everyone participating! Share on the page what you plan to bring and let's make this a great event that everyone who participated is overjoyed that they did!
