About the event

5K Run for the Rescues

Join the Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea for the first annual 5K "Run for the Rescues" in support of the animals at Rhea County Animal Shelter! 5K Run and 1M Fun Walk/Run.

You are welcome to bring your dog to run or walk. Shelter dogs are available for the walk only.

Early registration by January 31 saves $5 AND you get your name on your T-shirt.

Packet pickup is Friday March 20 from 5-7 pm at Winstead's American Grille and the morning of the race from 8:15-9:30 am.
