Ed is very knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna and geology--so do not hesitate to ask him questions! *Registration is required* Note: there is a limit of 10 dogs on this guided walk; all friendly dogs are welcome and must remain on a 6-foot or shorter leash at all times Meet: Bauer Unit parking lot at 8:45am; walk will begin promptly at 9:00am Wear: Outdoor attire and sturdy hiking shoes; dress for the weather Bring: Water (for you and your pooch), doggy bags and sun protection Additional information: There are no restroom facilities or water fountains at the Bauer Unit; help us leave no trace by packing out what you pack in Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free There is no ranger station at the Bauer Unit so exact cash or a park pass can be used at the self-pay station. Go approx. 3.5 miles and turn right on Edge Falls Rd. Continue for 2.4 miles and turn right on Acker Road. Go 2.2 miles to entrance.
