Christina will be teaching you how to forge your very own petals to form a flower pendant design in sterling silver. Then, we'll solder in a bezel cup and set a semi-precious cabochon gemstone of your choice. We’ll go over metal properties, how to form our components using pliers and then soldering them into place. In the end, you will have designed and handmade your very own flower pendant, a sure sign that spring is here!

Skills Covered: We'll go over metal properties, how to form and solder components as well as cabochon stone setting. This is an adult class; students must be at least 18+ years old.

Prerequisite: None, this is a great introduction to beginner metalsmithing techniques. No prior experience is necessary.

Materials Provided: All materials will be provided for you. Metals are iron and nickel free.
