Nature Coast Orchid Society March Meeting

Nature Coast Orchid Society will host Mark Sands of Tangled Roots Orchid Nursery to the March meeting. Mark will present “Renovation & Repopulation,” a program about bringing native orchids back to the wild. He was involved in bringing back 3000 native orchids to the Everglades that were destroyed. Mark’s specialty is bifoliate cattleyas. He also developed decomposing pots and a Florida fertilizer containing fungicide. Mark’s items will be available for sale. A members’ blooming plant display and raffle will also be part of the activities. Doors open 11 AM; meeting starts 12 PM in Church meeting room. Free parking available. First visit to NCOS is free.
