Join us on Wednesday, June 19th for the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Event, a vibrant celebration of Juneteenth Freedom Day and an inspiring call to action as we unite to Forge the Future of education, equity, and empowerment in our communities.
✨ Why We Celebrate
Juneteenth—also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day—marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day of remembrance, joy, and resilience.
🔥 Forge the Future
This year’s theme reflects our shared commitment to shaping a better tomorrow through education, advocacy, and community. Let’s uplift the next generation by celebrating our legacy and advancing our collective progress.
Let’s come together to honor our past, celebrate the present, and Forge the Future.
I look forward to seeing you there!
