✨ Why We Celebrate
Juneteenth—also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day—marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day of remembrance, joy, and resilience.
