The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Course is a great opportunity for youth to develop the skills and knowledge needed to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The in-person session is held at The Oak WashCo Youth Center.
On successful completion for this course, you will receive an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification, which is valid for two years.
To successfully complete the course you must:
● Attend and participate in the entire course session.
● Actively participate in all course activities including various roles during skill practices and assessment scenarios.
● Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
● Successfully complete all assessment scenarios.
● Complete a final multiple choice exam with a passing grade of 80% or higher.
● Participants must be 12 years of age or older to participate
