American Red Cross Babysitting Course

The American Red Cross Babysitting Course is a great opportunity for youth to develop their caregiving skills. The training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. When the course is completed, participants will receive a certificate of completion. This training is sure to benefit participant skill development and assure parents you babysit for are confident in your ability to provide safe and appropriate care.

On successful completion for this course, you will receive an American Red Cross Babysitter’s certification.
To successfully complete the course you must:
● Attend and participate in the entire course session.
● Actively participate in all course activities including various roles during skill practices and assessment scenarios.
● Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
● Must be 11 years old to participate
