Bring something weird. Draw something weirder.
We're gathering random objects from our lives—the strange, the mundane, the inexplicably interesting—and piling them into one chaotic still life for everyone to draw together.
WHEN:
Tuesday March 10th, 4:00 pm
Plan for 60-90 minutes of drawing time
WHERE:
Shadle Park Library, 2111 W Wellesley Ave
WHAT TO BRING:
• One object that interests you (safe for all ages/public spaces—think: vintage finds, taxidermy, odd toys, interesting household items, natural curiosities)
• Your own drawing supplies and preferred medium
WHAT'S PROVIDED:
• Tables and chairs
• Community and creative chaos
• A subject you'd never draw on your own
WHO:
All ages, all skill levels, all mediums welcome. Whether you haven't picked up a pencil in years or you're a seasoned artist—you belong here.
COST: Free
RSVP: Encouraged but not required (helps us plan space)
Last time we had real skulls, fake skulls, a clown marionette, sprouted garlic, dollhouse furniture, and a tiny sombrero all coexisting on one table. It shouldn't have worked, but it did.
Come see what we create this time.
