History is best enjoyed with good company, a pint in hand, and a street full of stories. This fall, Spokane Preservation Advocates is heading up North Monroe for a day of hops, shops, and history!
📅 Saturday, October 11
2–3 PM · Registration at Bellwether Brewing
2–6 PM · Free-range pub crawlin’ and shopping (shuttle van included!)
6–8 PM · The Final Stop After Party at Vintage Print — home base for the Spokane Neon Museum, which received an SPA grant to secure and preserve historic signage — with sandwiches generously provided at a discount by our friends at Zozo’s, plus a no-host bar.
What’s in store?
Nine historic neighborhood pubs serving up pints, cocktails, and plenty of character: Bellwether Brewing, Four-Eyed Guys Brewing, Uno Mas Tacos, Elliotts Urban Kitchen, The Hub Tavern, Moezy Inn, Hi Neighbor Tavern, PJ’s Pub, and Shawn O’Donnell’s.
Eight local shops offering discounts and giveaways: Chic & Shab, D&L Rustic, Marilyn’s on Monroe, Paint in My Hair, Rejuvenate, Static Age Vintage, Tossed and Found, 1889 Salvage, and Siren Plant Shop.
Stamp your passport as you go to enter raffles, plus scavenger hunts for extra chances to win.
After-party raffle + light dinner at Vintage Print, surrounded by the glow of neon history.
Why North Monroe?
This corridor once buzzed with streetcars, auto shops, and mom-and-pop businesses serving Spokane’s growing north side. Today, it’s a mix of historic buildings, creative small businesses, and watering holes that still carry the spirit of community. By crawling, sipping, and shopping, you’re helping keep that story alive.
Tickets: $30
Includes your passport booklet, pub and shop discounts, shuttle service, after-party with dinner, and a lifetime of preservation memories.
Open to the public. Bring your friends and your walking shoes—this crawl spans nearly 1.75 miles of Spokane history (with a shuttle to save your legs). Event to take place rain or shine!
