About the program

Learn about Spokane's rich history from the perspective of women who have shaped our local YWCA over the past 123 years. HerStory honors the courage of survivors of intimate partner domestic violence whose voices carry the legacy of the YWCA forward.


Our Stories: HerStory

Saturday, October 3rd from 11-3, join us at the MAC in partnership with the YWCA in promoting awareness about their commitment to advancing equity, supporting survivors through crisis, creating pathways towards healing, and preventing future violence.

Enjoy performances, interactive storytelling stations, music, food, and community booths.

Experience a StoryWalk highlighting poetry by survivors and artwork inspired by their written words.

Explore Campbell House and visit stations throughout the house where YWCA folks will share information about their organization's 123-year history in Spokane.

The museum's exhibitions, Campbell House, and all activities at this event are free to the public!
