About this Event

A Night of 80s Reimagined – Live at The Listening Room
Friday, December 19th | 7:00 PM

Get ready for a high-energy, dance-ready night of music as four of Spokane’s top musicians come together for a one-of-a-kind instrumental concert experience. This powerhouse quartet delivers reimagined instrumental versions of 80s pop and jazz hits, featuring creative and groove-heavy arrangements of songs like “In the Air Tonight” (Genesis) and “100 Ways” (Quincy Jones).

It’s a true party band and every time they perform, the room fills with dancers, fans, and some of the best vibes in town.

The Band:
Ben Rose – One of Spokane’s most in-demand guitarists, Ben has been performing in the region since 1998. An alumnus of SFCC and the Musicians Institute (GIT), he’s known for his work with Nu Jack City, The Rhythm Dawgs, Hoodoo Udu, and more, and has taught private lessons for over 15 years.

Don Goodwin – A staple of the Spokane music scene for decades, Don has performed, recorded, and toured with groups including Mama's Dogma, BeeCraft, Flowmotion, LaPush, Freefire, and Instant Superpower. He is also the musical director of the Spokane Jazz Orchestra and a tax specialist for artists.

Brian McCann – A versatile bassist whose career spans 25 years in Spokane, Brian has performed across genres including country, hip-hop, funk, jazz, Motown, folk, classic rock, big band, and more. After years in music education, he now works as a financial planner while continuing to record and perform.

Kenny Sager – A highly respected drummer and educator, Kenny holds a degree in Music Education from Eastern Washington University. His performance credits span everything from funk and country to Broadway, and he currently teaches at Gonzaga University alongside a busy performance schedule.

With a built-in fan base, strong local following, and musicians who have shaped Spokane’s music scene for years, this show is guaranteed to bring a lively, joy-filled crowd.

Join us for a night of nostalgia, rhythm, and unstoppable groove only at The Listening Room.
