Cirkus Kolektiv is launching an open call for authors, artists, and contemporary circus collectives developing new artistic projects and performances during 2027.

Artist in Residence is a residency programme designed for artists seeking space, time, and support to develop their ideas. During the residency in Split, Croatia, artists can research, experiment, develop existing projects, or initiate new creative processes.

Alongside workspace and technical support, the programme provides opportunities to connect with local audiences through a work-in-progress presentation and post-show discussion, as well as to share knowledge through workshops and other educational activities.

The call is open to projects at all stages of development, from initial artistic research and concepts to advanced production phases.

The call is open to artists and collectives from Europe working in contemporary circus who are developing new performances, artistic projects, works in progress, research-based processes, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Applications are welcome from projects at various stages of development. We particularly encourage projects that include workshops, masterclasses, or other knowledge-sharing activities for amateur and professional contemporary circus practitioners.

Cirkus Kolektiv otvara javni poziv za autore i autorice, umjetnike i umjetnice te kolektive suvremenog cirkusa koji tijekom 2027. godine razvijaju nove autorske projekte i izvedbene radove.

Artist in Residence rezidencijalni je program namijenjen umjetnicima koji traže prostor, vrijeme i podršku za razvoj svojih ideja. Program omogućuje boravak u Splitu tijekom kojeg umjetnici mogu istraživati, eksperimentirati, razvijati postojeće projekte ili započeti nove umjetničke procese.

Uz prostorne i tehničke uvjete za rad, rezidencija pruža priliku za susret s lokalnom publikom kroz work-in-progress prezentaciju i razgovor nakon izvedbe, kao i za razmjenu znanja kroz radionice ili druge edukativne aktivnosti.

Poziv je otvoren za projekte u svim fazama razvoja – od početnih istraživanja i skica do završnih faza produkcije.

Poziv je namijenjen umjetnicima, umjetnicama i kolektivima koji djeluju u području suvremenog cirkusa te razvijaju nove autorske predstave, umjetničke projekte, radove u nastajanju (work-in-progress), istraživačke procese i interdisciplinarne suradnje.

Dobrodošle su prijave projekata u različitim fazama razvoja, od početnih umjetničkih istraživanja do završnih faza produkcije. Posebno potičemo prijave projekata koji uključuju radionice, masterclass programe ili druge oblike razmjene znanja namijenjene amaterima i profesionalcima iz područja suvremenog cirkusa.
