- **Event Description**: The Sperryville Community Alliance and Rappahannock Association for Arts and Community (RAAC) are pleased to announce our 6th annual Sperryville Summer Concert Series.

We close out the season with Gold Top County Ramblers. This beloved Sperryville-based band brings their signature “string rock” and bluegrass spirit to close out the season. Band members: Adam Rogers (mandolin, vocals), Jesse Rogers (bass), Tucker Rogers (resonator guitar), Matt Davis (banjo), James Reid (drums), and Evan Childress (fiddle).

The Sperryville Summer Concert Series is a FREE regional music showcase that takes place every third Thursday from May through September at Sperryville River District:

May 21: Rebecca Porter & the Rhinestone Roses
June 18: Pictrola
July 16: District Dad Band
August 20: Tinsmith
September 17: Gold Top County Ramblers

Gates open at 5:00 PM. Music starts at 6:00 PM including two sets with a short intermission. Music ends at 8:00 PM.

All concerts take place on the lawn at Sperryville’s River District, located on River Lane near the confluence of the north and south branches of the Thornton River. Special thanks to Alex Sharp at Copper Fox Antiques for the generous use of his land and parking lot. Additional parking is provided by Rick Wasmund at Copper Fox Distillery and Greg Yates at The Marketplace Sperryville.

There are no rain dates. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to a location next to the concert site. Stay tuned for more details.

The Sperryville Summer Concert Series is funded in part by a Better Together grant. Thank you, PATH Foundation!

Concert goers are encouraged to bring with blankets, low chairs, food and drink. New Iberia Kitchen and Indulgent Scullery at Off the Grid will be on site serving up food at each event in the series. Yukon's Treats (or C&C Frozen Treats) will be serving up ice cream and other delicacies.

Copper Fox Distillery will be open during concert hours and their beverages may be consumed inside the concert area. Concert attendees are kindly asked not to carry open containers of alcohol outside of the concert area.

This FREE concert series is suitable for all ages and is intended to bring the community together outside to dine, dance and mingle with your friends and neighbors. Though admission is free, a tip jar for the musicians will be passed around if you want to show your support for local musicians.

Parking is limited for this popular concert series. We encourage attendees to carpool or enjoy a walk down the Sperryville River Walk from other locations.

Dog owners are welcome to bring their furry friends, but we ask that all pets remain leashed and recommend sitting on the perimeter of the crowd.
