- **Event Description**: The sky is the limit here at the N.C. Transportation museum during our annual Scout’s Aviation Day. Happening concurrently with our “Wind and Wings: The Science of Flight” event, our Aviation Day will allow all participating Scouts the opportunity to learn how airplanes work, about various aviation terms, careers in aviation, and pilot certifications, and even create an FPG-9 to take home. This is a great opportunity for Scouts to interact with other troops and work together to earn their Aviation Merit Badge. This event will include a train ride, flag ceremony, lunch, workshops to help Scouts earn their Aviation Merit Badge and much more! 

Please note that at least one responsible adult (leader/parent chaperone) is required to register and stay for the duration of the event. Please call Meghan DeLapp at (980) 305-6298 if you have questions about registration.
