Family Fun Day in a forest looking for mushrooms good people and great experiences.

About this Event

10am-Meet and great and a safety talk.

10:30am-Ask Mother Tree and the Earth for a bountiful harvest.

10:45am- Begin the Forage, I will guild you to parts of the forest known to be good pickings and let you forage that space to your hearts content, but I will always be near to answer any questions.

12:45pm- Possible lunch break, you don't have to stop foraging if you don't want to.

2:45pm- return to the farmhouse for the cooking demonstrations and Q&A of the found treasures.

4pm- wrapping up and saying goodbye.

About The Host: Please Come to my 50-acher forest farm for a Mushroom and Herbal Forage every Sunday 10am-4pm EST in Spence the Heart of Tennessee, just 30 minutes east of Fall Creek Falls. Spend the day with me to learn to recognize safe mushrooms, poisonous mushrooms, red, white and blue mushrooms. Tie a Ribbon on the Blessing Tree. Thanking mother earth for thy bounties. After the Forest Forage, bring our treasures to the house and take a deeper look into what we have found. As we always cook up some mushrooms for you. Learn the right way to cook each variety, so they don't get "slimy" yuk! Sauteed Mushrooms., fried mushrooms, mushroom Veggie Soup.
