Annual Speculator/Lake Pleasant Polar Plunge

Ring in the New Year with a cool, fresh start!

Join the fun for the Annual Speculator/Lake Pleasant Polar Plunge! All are welcome to plunge, and spectators are welcomed and encouraged.

At the Fire Department's noon siren, plungers will take a brisk dip in the river located next to the Speculator Pavilion.

When: Wednesday, January 1, 2026

Where: Boat Launch at the Speculator Pavilion and Park

Donations from the polar plunge will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. After the plunge, warm up at the Lemon Tree Brewery with hot chocolate!
