Gathering in circle for meaningful conversations and education:

- Exploring rites of passage - menses, maidenhood, motherhood (including mothering of self), menopause
- Acknowledging & reflecting on your own place, experience & story in these rites & cycles

Education & Therapeutics:
We will explore hormones and the body systems involved in hormonal regulation. We will discuss the roles and impacts of sex hormones, like estrogen & progesterone, as well as natural ways to cultivate hormonal balance.

Herbal medicine education - we will cover herbs to tonify, strengthen, & balance hormone levels in the body ~ including serving of a tea blend of the featured herbs from Sage & Cedar Tea Company, *handout will be shared on medicinal properties of each herb in the blend

You will also have the opportunity to ask your own questions related to hormonal health to someone who is trained and has clinical experience in women’s health.

Further bio of your instructor & facilitator ~
Sarah Sue Burich earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2014. While not licensed in South Dakota, she serves as a healing guide, facilitator, coach, & ally in the world of medicine—supporting rather than replacing conventional care. She is also a teacher, herbalist, and earth steward, with 12+ years of experience teaching in herbal schools, universities, non-profits, yoga studios, the mountains of Morocco, farms, forests, as well as in the clinical setting for her beloved patients & clients over her 15 years of practice. She is also a devoted steward for the earth, as well as her son.

She is devoted to helping others reconnect with nature, creativity, and their own inner wisdom and ability to heal through her business, Journey Home Healing. Her work fosters sustainable healing, empowerment, and transformation.

Journey Home Healing offers care through individual & group sessions, classes, workshops, and community engagement. Guided by naturopathic medicine's principles & philosophy, scientific evidence, intuitive guidance, & creativity, Sarah Sue supports whole-person health—physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, environmental, & ancestral.

Her approach integrates diverse tools and wisdom to uncover root causes, support healing, and honor the body’s innate ability to heal. Symptoms are seen not as problems to fight, but as messages to listen to—an invitation to make peace with your body and yourself.
