This talk will explore the local legacy of the American Revolution through the eyes of Spartanburg native Mark C. Anthony, whose ancestors took part in the March to and Battle of Kings Mountain. Drawing on over a decade of participation in the Annual March and his deep family roots, Mark will share stories—both personal and historical—of Revolutionary War events that shaped the Spartan District and its people.

There are a limited number of seats, be sure to register in advance (even members!)

Admission: $5 for non-members / Free for SCHA members.
