Steviemack has been performing music for more than forty years. He had his beginnings as a percussionist/ drummer in classical and jazz music and spent his twenties exploring punk, indy, and hip hop music through turntablism, live sound support, studio engineering, production and songwriting. He is a former member of Eighthundred, Kaos Mathematics, The Carvers Surf & Stomp Combo as well as Starlight Speedway. Upon relocating to Sparta from Wilmington, North Carolina Steviemack began to perform his songs and favorite cover songs on voice and guitar. He like to refer to his musical style as “Lowbrow Southern Soul Music”
