- **Event Description**: Enjoy an opportunity to see the Big Falls at Burgess Falls from the base!

We will be meeting at the Cane Hollow Recreation Area parking lot at 8:45 AM. It will be a 4-mile roundtrip paddle. We hope to observe some of our local wildlife and enjoy the scenic views of the Falling Water River.

Kayaks and life preservers will be provided. Please remember to wear sunscreen, bring plenty of water, and be prepared to have a great time! Also, please be sure to bring your own waterproof bags to store your personal items!

This opportunity will be limited to 10 people, therefore you must register. The cost is $55 per person. Participants must be at least 12 years old, preferably with some kayak experience. 

Note: Cancellations due to weather will be refunded. In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted at the number you provide during registration for cancellations. If you are not contacted by park staff, the float will proceed as scheduled.
