Every Thursday in June & July**no craft 7/3** from 2pm - 4pm in the Library Classroom, registered participants will enjoy a craft designed to spark interest and creativity in patrons of all ages.

ALL CHILDREN 11yrs old & younger must be accompanied by an adult(19 years or older) parent or guardian while in the library and when attending library programming.

All Art Camp programs are not suitable for very young children.

Please check the description and verify your child is able to complete the craft before registering for the individual programs.  

7/10 SIMPLE PET PORTRAITS: Join SFPL staff in the library classroom to create a colorful and unique portrait of your pet. Participants will email or bring a print out of their pet (details will be provided in the registration form). Art projects will be created from the photo, a glass document frame, and acrylic paint. All supplies provided. Best for ages 12 and up. Limited to 12 people

7/17 PAINTING WITH MS. CHAR: Ms. Charmaine Askew of Daylight Tees & More will join us again for a painting program. All supplies provided. Best for ages 10 and up. Limited to 12 people

7/24 TIE-DYE: Join SFPL staff outside for the final very messy art project :) Create your own unique summer reading shirt using the popular tie-dye method. All participants will need to bring their own pre-washed white or light colored shirt without, or with very minimal printed designs on the fabric. All dyeing supplies provided Limited to 30 people

Registration is required for each of these programs.  

Each individual who wishes to take home an art project must be registered separately; ADULTs who are only accompanying/assisting children DO NOT need to register separately.
