Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra & Sound

Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year. It's a time to leave the dark behind and move into the days of more light. It's a new beginning, a reset. Each day after the solstice gets a little longer. You may not notice at first, but the changes compound, until the days are more light than dark. It's a symbol for ourselves, our changes, little habits, little changes may not seem like much but they combine and become big life changes.

Yoga nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that leads to a state of deep relaxation between wakefulness and sleep, promoting nervous system renewal and emotional release.

Sound bowl healing benefits include deep relaxation, stress and anxiety reduction, and improved sleep quality. The vibrations and sounds can also promote physical and emotional healing, improve focus, facilitate meditation, and aid in chakra balancing
