Kinda Education Training is led by Mell Harrison - aka- Mell Mushroom, with over 30 years of nature connection experience - working with all ages babies to Elders - with 10 years of experience in delivering Forest School Training. She is nationally Endorsed by the Forest School Association. Mell is supported by the inspiring Eloise Earwig and Emma Eagle , together they offer a training experience, guaranteed to be like no other!

We deliver cross-generational Forest School programmes, working with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to rekindle a sense of belonging, co-operation and community.
The practical training happens face to face in both stunning ancient and very young woodland. This gives us a chance to explore and understand how woodland layers evolve and how different woodlands and natural spaces can be worked alongside for holistic development.
The course has a high tutor ratio that helps us to support and mentor you as you take the forest School journey.
The qualification is composed of two units.
Unit 1: Understanding how Forest School and Forest School experiences can support
learning and development and being able to perform the role of a Forest School
Assistant.
Unit 2: Sustainable woodland management, risk assessment and carrying out practical
tasks such as using tools, erecting shelters and safe fire siting at Forest School.
The Training includes-
*5 days face to face tutoring
* ongoing support in between face to face training with our Kinda Training team.
*PLUS optional one day observing a Kinda Forest School long term session in action
Attending and observing a child across 3 forest school sessions
Around 16 self guided learning hours
Mentor support
Completed Portfolio -Successful completion will lead to the candidate gaining an ITC Level 2 Award for Forest School Assistants

We ask for £150 deposit to hold your space on this course
