Welcome to Breathe!
Chair Yoga for Calm, Connection & Joy
Come and take a deep breath and join this gentle chair-based yoga class designed especially for older adults and those looking for a slower, more supportive practice. This class offers a welcoming space to stretch, breathe, and feel good in our bodies.
We'll explore simple movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation – all from the comfort and support of a chair – helping to ease stiffness, improve balance, and leave you feeling calmer and more connected. And perhaps most importantly, we’ll have fun together, share some smiles, and be part of a supportive community.
No experience needed.
Weekly classes begin 12/9/25, running during term times.
Fridays 10.45-11.30am
Your first class is £5 (drop in is £8 or a 6 class pass for £36 thereafter)
About Sarah:
I'm an experienced yoga teacher and chair-based movement practitioner, with over 17 years teaching experience. Having originally trained as a contemporary dancer, I have taught for internationally renowned companies including Rambert and Richard Alston Dance Company. I was the founding artist for English National Ballet's Dance for Parkinson's hub in Ipswich.
I have been practicing yoga for 20 years, and teaching for 12. I love creating opportunities for people to move more joyfully and ease-fully. My classes are varied, thoughtful and inclusive, with great music; always with an emphasis on how it feels, never on how it looks.
