Exploring alpine areas is an amazing and rewarding experience. Rock climbers; only attempt climbs that are well within your capability. Frenchmans Cap is a serious, remote cliff. Understand that response to any accidents will take time and may be very challenging.This registration system is not a safety system. Individuals are responsible for their own safety and preparation as per the Walk Safely messages, including recording their trip intentions in the walker logbooks at the trailhead. To make the most of your trip and ensure you are well prepared please read our Safety in Parks information.A valid national parks pass is required.
