- **Event Description**: Help repair and revive soft toys at our very own Toy Hospital - bring a teddy or mend donated ones in this warm, skill-sharing sessionAbout this EventJoin us for a heartwarming and hands-on sustainable sewing session where we open the doors to our very own Toy Hospital, bringing together care, creativity, and practical skills as we work to repair and revive well-loved soft toys in need of a little extra attention.In this gentle and collaborative workshop, you’re invited to bring along a tired or “under-the-weather” teddy or soft toy from home to mend and refresh, or to roll up your sleeves and help us repair donated toys that have been sent in for a second life, from stitching seams and replacing stuffing to adding thoughtful finishing touches that restore their character and comfort.This session is as much about connection as it is about making, offering a welcoming space to share skills, stories, and small acts of kindness, while reflecting on the value of repair, reuse, and the emotional significance held within everyday objects.Participants of all skill levels are warmly welcomed, whether you’re completely new to sewing or more experienced, and guidance will be available throughout, with basic tools and materials provided to support the process.Disclaimer & Safety NoticeOur sustainable textile workshops involve the use of equipment and materials that may present hazards, including but not limited to:Sharp objects: scissors, needles, and pinsHeat sources: irons, glue guns, and other heated equipmentUse of EquipmentParticipants use all equipment and materials at their own risk. We will provide clear guidance on safe use and, where reasonable and appropriate, we will make reasonable adjustments to enable participation.
