Rod Ford & Quintessence

Rod Ford and Quintessence are taking the stage at Gold Coast City Jazz Club on Tuesday 5th August from 7pm.

The group covers many styles, from older to more modern Jazz, Latin including Brazilian and Cuban, with a smattering of Pop artists including the Beatles and Stevie Wonder to name a few. There could even be an occasional original song which balances out the repertoire nicely.

Will Sargisson and John Whyte have played in many local and Brisbane based bands (including Galapagos Duck), at venues such as Brisbane Jazz Club, simultaneously sharing the Piano and Organ roles as well as Keyboard Bass duties.

Dave Cox is one of Australia's brightest new talents, playing a multitude of instruments at the highest level.

Rodney Ford plays and sings in various bands at the Southport Jazz Club including Sweet Thunder Big Band', Galapagos Duck and The Jazz Kings.
