- **Event Description**: ? I am very excited to announce that in 3 weeks, I am starting a new bereavement group based in Southport. Somehow our paths have crossed, and Hope Funeral Care  have kindly agreed to host these meetings in the most beautiful space.

Anyone who knows me knows this is something I’ve spoken about since the start of the year, and I simply can’t get the idea out of my mind! It was only after my lovely Mum’s passing 10 weeks ago that I felt truly pushed to start it.

Grief is one of the most horrendous experiences we can face, yet it’s something we all have to cope with at some point. I have seen in the past how being with a group of people who simply “get it” can really make all the difference.

Please note: this is not counselling, but a peer support group where we can share experiences, listen, and support one another.

Wendy and Claire at Hope Funeral Care are honestly the most wonderful people I have met since my loss. My goal with this group is to carry forward their kindness and warmth in the beautiful space they have created, which truly feels like a home from home.
