In this talk Howard will share details on all things houseplants.

Beginning by selling lettuces at 6 years old, then working on local nurseries before going home after school. Howard trained at local Agricultural colleges before going on to Edinburgh Botanic Garden as a Student, leaving with honours and all but one of the top awards. He then moved to Birmingham, working for 20 years as a Horticultural Training Officer and and as a researcher and presenter on Central TV’s Gardening Time for 611 episodes. Howard has also been closely associated with Ashwood Nurseries and John Massey's garden.

Refreshments, plants for sale and raffle.
Free entry for members.
£2 for guests.
Doors open at 7pm.
