A joyous celebration of the Vernal Equinox, a liminal time of balance, the growing light, and Spring, at Bradley Mountain Farm. Ostara Ritual, Storytelling and Entertainment by magician Cyril the Sorcerer, Drumming at the Fire, and Potluck Feast. Families are welcome. Meet and feed the goats at the farm!
Please let us know ahead what you will be bringing for the potluck when you RSVP here on FB. Plan a tray of something to feed 20 people and something to drink (non-alcoholic). Kitchen is not being rented - bring a warmer if necessary.
3 pm come for set up of food, socialize, feed the goats, take a walk and explore the beauty outdoors by Crescent Lake.
Parking: All areas are level, and easily accessed. If you are handicapped please let us know IN ADVANCE so we can make it easier for you with parking. The goat farm handles parking.
3:30 pm-ish Solstice Ceremony honoring the rebirth of the Sun is indoors in the Tavern Room (with fireplace). Odyssean Wicca ritual format including some liturgy is standard for us.
4:15 pm-ish Feast and drink 🙂
4:45 pm-ish Earth Hero Magic - Cyril the Sorcerer will share the magical secrets that all can use to protect our rivers and oceans, mountains and forests, plants and animals. After the show Cyril will bring forth quill and ink to sign parchment certificates for all attendees wishing to document their learning.
5:45 pm-ish Drumming outdoors by the fire if weather permits.
7 pm close.
$20 monetary donations suggested to cover rental, kids free, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Kindly, be generous if you can. Rent is 450 for this event.
Please also bring a non-perishable item for Spooner House, which is both a shelter and a food bank. Any left overs will be brought there following the event.
