- **Event Description**: We are hosting our 5th Annual “Children’s Christmas Extravaganza” on December 13, 2025, and our hope is to provide a Merry Christmas to many children and teens in the downriver area who have been impacted by a parent’s mental illness or substance use, and for any families in need of Christmas help and holiday activities.  We're contacting the community for help to make this night extra special for the children who face “going without” during the holiday.  

We are asking for donations of multiple items (please see our "Holiday Gift Wishlist") and our goal is to collect 100 new toys for ages 0-16 years.  

The event will consist of a hot chocolate bar, candy and sweets bar, pizza, hands on activities, games, a visit from Santa, cookie decoration, face painting, raffles, and of course a gift for each child.
