Have you ever felt you were the only one who was deeply affected? Or maybe you are looking for a community of others who “get it.”If this sounds like you, we invite you to join the newly formed Life-Giving Wounds support group for now-adult children of divorced or separated parents. The small group will begin on April 24, 2025, and gather weekly for eight meetings at Church of the Transfiguration, Southfield, MI 48033. We hope that you will join us!About Life-Giving Wounds: The ministry aims to give voice to the often painful experiences of divorce or separation and provide opportunities for deep spiritual healing through Christ. We come together in small groups and retreat weekends to learn and reflect on the wound of our parents’ divorce, but most importantly, we will come before our Lord to surrender our questions, healing and hurts to Him. Learn more at: www.lifegivingwounds.org.Who is the support group for?Anyone 18+ years old with divorced or separated parentsIf you are curious to know how the wound of divorce or separation may be impacting your life, desire a path toward healing, and are looking for others who can relate to and appreciate your experienceCost:$15.00** First-time member registrants will receive the “Life-Giving Wounds: A Catholic Guide to Healing for Adult Children of Divorce or Separation” book and “LGW Companion Workbook.”Group Facilitator: Jen CoxAs an adult child of divorced parents, Jen is passionate about Life-Giving Wounds. After attending her first LGW retreat in 2018, Jen followed the Lord’s prompting to get involved! Currently, she serves on the traveling retreat team, assists the National Leadership team and occasionally contributes to our Instagram and the LGW blog.
