SPEAKERS: Meditation Matters!/ Claire Healing ? and Zen with Ben

SUBJECT: Yoga Nidra with Reiki Healing and Sound Bath with Crystal Bowls

WHAT TO EXPECT: Following some brief instructions, we will begin with a Yoga Nidra session accompanied with 'hands-off' Reiki healing. After a 10 minute comfort break, you will experience a sound bath with crystal bowls, a harp and gongs. No previous experience of meditation practice necessary for either session and full guidance will be provided. Yoga Nidra can be particularly beneficial to those new to meditation, or those who find it hard to relax and let go, or experience resistance to the present moment. Both Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath meditation are ideally experienced lying down on air beds which will be supplied, although for those who find this difficult suitable chairs will be available. Further details will be provided to those attending and we will require completion of forms including a PAR-Q & Liability Waiver, unless previously completed and on the assumption there has been no changes in your circumstances which may for health reasons preclude your attendance. 

This event is suitable for adults only and is restricted in terms of numbers so prompt notification of attendance is advised. Please note, this is not a fundraising event and there will be no complimentary refreshments. 

Please bring a bottle of water and for comfort we recommend you bring your own pillows/ blankets etc. As you will be lying still, please ensure you wear comfortable/ warm clothing and please remove your shoes before laying on the air beds to reduce the risk of damage. 

DATE OF EVENT: Friday 28th November 2025.

TIME: 7.00PM-9.30PM (Please arrive from 7.00PM for 7.20PM prompt start)

VENUE: The Balmoral Centre (The Hall), Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 7AU. 

PARKING: Some parking is available for use to the front of the building and street parking is available in the area. Public car parks are also located nearby, one immediately north of the junction with A13 London Road and Hamlet Court Road the other north of the junction with A13 London Road and North Road.

COST: £20 per person in advance only as limited spaces.

ABOUT FREE SPIRIT: Free Spirit is a social group hosted by Claire Healing designed for the open and spiritually minded. The purpose of the group is to bring like-minded people together by offering stimulating events and meetings (held in Leigh-on-Sea and/ or surrounding areas) that enhance understanding of spiritual matters, facilitate healing and expand consciousness.  The attendance fee will vary from event to event to cover costs such as expenses, venue hire and guest speaker fees. Providing costs/ fees are covered and depending on the number of attendees, for our fundraising events it is the intention that the business Claire Healing? will make a discretionary donation to charitable organisations derived from part of the entrance fee.
