A glittery nightclub in 1920s Berlin becomes a haven for LGBTQ+ communities in this documentary exploring the freedoms lost amid Adolf Hitler's rise to power. For anyone who wants the kind of understanding and perspective that the past offers us, Eldorado – Everything the Nazis Hate is an accessible, potent slice of history we'd do better to avoid repeating. 


The film will be followed by a group discussion to share our thoughts and perspectives. 


Tea and snacks will be provided and feel free to bring your own to share with the group!


You can access the Lecture Theatre using the side doors located between the Beecroft Art Gallery and Southend Central Museum.
