I hope you are well.
My name is Dionne Kerr and I am reaching out to ask if your company might be able to support a Community Fun Day we are organising to raise money for Kidney Research UK.
I have been diagnosed with Goodpasture Syndrome and have been waiting over two and a half years for a kidney transplant. After spending months in hospital, my daily life is now very restricted while I wait for the call for a transplant.
To help raise funds and awareness for kidney disease, we are organising a Community Fun Day on 19 July 2026 at Brightlingsea Community Centre (10am – 4pm). The event will include stalls, games, food, competitions, a dog show, a bake-off, fancy dress and more.
One of the main ways we hope to raise funds on the day is through a charity raffle. Rather than asking for money, we are kindly asking businesses if they would consider donating a raffle prize such as a voucher, product, service, or gift item. Any donation, big or small, would make a huge difference and help us raise as much as possible for Kidney Research UK.
All businesses that donate will be recognised and thanked during the event and in our promotions.
