Workshop Description:
Join us for a dynamic and empowering bellydance workshop designed to elevate your dance vocabulary and fluidity across the floor!
In this session, we will focus on travelling steps and turn variations that will bring deep understanding, knowledge and confidence to your belly dance travelling steps and turns.
Solid understanding of footwork is essential for travelling steps and turns. We will guide you through our most commonly used foundation travel steps. With full breakdown of the footwork and plenty of practise drills, you will learn how to travel with confidence grace and style.
Here are some of the steps that we will explore:
Mambo Fwd/Back step with hip accents
Egyptian Walk/Arabic Walk
Double Hip Pushes/Drop Backs
Step Ball Change
Travelling chassee
Step Touch/Lift/Twist
The Grapevine
Travel Step with arabesque
Travelling/Turning With Undulations
We will also demystify turns with clear guidance and tips to help you turn with ease.
